Photo Tour of Alfa Romeo's Historical Museum in Arese

The Alfa Romeo Historical Museum, located in Arese, near Milan, was officially inaugurated in December 1976 and covers an area of 4,800 square meters, divided into 4 main sections and six floors.

The first section is devoted to production and competition cars, featuring hundreds of models, two chassis and 22 engines. The exhibit is arranged in chronological order, so that visitors can get a clear picture of how the Italian maker's cars have evolved over the decades. A nice touch is represented by the wealth of documentation that accompanies the vehicles on display, in the form of photographs and copies of vintage advertising.

The second section is devoted to design and "dream" cars. Next up on our tour is an area that houses one airplane and 14 aircraft engines in celebration of Alfa's involvement in the aviation industry.

Last but not least, the fourth section displays racing cars and numerous trophies won by pilots driving Alfa Romeos in a variety of motor sports over a period of more than eighty years.

Hope you enjoy our gallery from our visit there .
